Heather Lowe

My strong bond with the animal world began at an early age.  My family raised pedigree Airedale Terriers for a short time and the movie Bambi made a lasting impression.  My passion for animal welfare grew after   rescuing a starving cat from my neighbor's tree and reuniting it with its owners, miles away, when I was 15 >

That passion has been sustained now for over 45 years - with active involvement as an adoption volunteer with the ASPCA in NYC, President of the Windham County Humane Society - Vermont and a long-time volunteer/foster-mom with the Seattle Animal Shelter.  

I have rescued many dogs, cats, birds and other small wildlife and HLW has donated hundreds of collars and leads to animal shelters in Vermont, Massachusetts and Washington. 

A native of Westchester County, New York, I am a former marketing executive for Nordstrom and Revlon living in Seattle.
